It was recorded live at The Historic Wilber Mansion in Oneonta NY on a snowy and cold (8 degrees) January evening in front a small audience. I feel this record was successful in capturing the intimate feeling of the performance itself, and an honest snapshot of my musical and artistic approach at the time.” - Wyatt

killdeer trio - released May 11th, 2023

“Killdeer Trio is a collaborative project between myself, bassist Evan Jagels, and drummer Sebastian Green. The album was recorded in one day during a session that was originally meant to produce a 4 song EP, but fatefully turned into the tracks for our debut album. Working with this band really opened the door to the type of musical hybridization of jazz/improvised music and “popular music” that I had been looking for since I first became interested in improvised music. As we continue to evolve as individual players and as a group, I enjoy revisiting this album to see where it all started.” - Wyatt
